Michael Osei Boateng unveils vision for a united and vibrant NPP youth wing
Michael Osei Boateng has officially declared his intention to contest for the National Youth Organiser position of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), pledging to build a united and vibrant youth wing to help the party return to power.
Speaking at a press conference at Elking Hotel in East Legon, Mr Boateng said his campaign would focus on youth empowerment, grassroots mobilisation and party unity.
He said that, if elected, he would work closely with the NPP's 2024 presidential candidate, Mahamudu Bawumia, to strengthen the party's campaign machinery and position it for victory in the next general election.
Mr Boateng said his political journey began with the Tertiary Students Confederacy, where he developed his leadership skills before rising through the ranks to hold several youth leadership positions in the Bono Region.
He stated that his experience in student politics, grassroots mobilisation and party administration had equipped him to lead the party's youth wing and advance the interests of young members across the country.
The aspiring National Youth Organiser also expressed confidence in his ability to unite the party's youth and broaden its grassroots support, citing his experience as a strategist and youth mobiliser during regional and national campaigns.
His declaration officially launches his campaign as the NPP prepares to elect new national executives ahead of the party's next electoral cycle.
