NDC launches campaign to educate voters on spoilt ballots ahead of Dec. 7 polls

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) is actively engaging voters in the Bia East and West constituencies to raise awareness about the implications of spoilt ballots.
The party’s Vice Presidential candidate, Prof. Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang, emphasised the need to eradicate the troubling trend of spoilt ballots, asserting that ensuring voters understand the voting process is crucial for the party's success.
Speaking at an engagement session with residents in the Western North Region, Prof. Opoku Agyemang, highlighted that a well-informed electorate is vital for achieving a one-touch victory for the NDC.
She noted the era of spoilt ballots is worrying and must come to an end while indicating that doing it right will help cement the party’s lead in the upcoming elections.
During the event, local chiefs also voiced their expectations, urging the NDC to prioritise significant infrastructure development in the region if elected to power.
Nana Yaw Pra III, the chief of Kwasare, spoke on behalf of the chiefs, emphasising the need for the party to invest in the region's development.
