NDC primaries: Fred Nuamah files nomination manually

Fred Nuamah, a Parliamentary aspirant in the Ayawaso West Wuogon constituency faced challenges filing his nomination for the upcoming primaries of the main opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC).
According to the aspirant, every effort to file his nomination electronically failed.
In a statement on Wednesday, 22 March 2023, Mr Nuamah, said: “For the past 72 hours, I have not been able to complete the filing of my nomination electronically, as well as make payment for the filing.”
Mr Nuamah noted: “All efforts have proven futile after my engagement with the relevant personnel behind the party’s electronic platform, I found this to be another Machiavellian tactic to prevent me from successfully filing my nomination.”
However, the actor, was able to file his nomination manually.
He revealed: “In the meantime, I have presented my Manuel requirement to the election directorate to signify my submission while I await the online rectification.”
Closing date for the filing of nomination for parliamentary aspirants was Wednesday, 22 March 2023.
The actor will be contesting against his colleague actor and friend John Dumelo in the primaries slated to take place on Saturday, 13 May 2023.
