NDC taskforce in Ashanti Region urges President Mahama to fulfil job promises

Members of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) task force in the Ashanti Region have appealed to President John Dramani Mahama and the party’s leadership to fulfil the promises made to them ahead of the 2024 general elections.
Speaking at a press conference, Maxwell Hope, leader of the Unemployed Task Force, stated that party executives had assured them of job opportunities if they played a role in securing victory for the NDC in the December 7, 2024 general elections.
However, despite the party’s resounding electoral success, he lamented that they have yet to receive the employment opportunities they were promised.
The task force members are now calling on President Mahama and the NDC leadership to honour their commitments by providing them with jobs to enable them to sustain their livelihoods.
