NPP announces timetable for 2026 re-organisation exercise
The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has released its timetable for a nationwide re-organisation exercise scheduled to take place between March and September 2026.
According to the party, the exercise will begin with a membership drive from March 1 to March 31, 2026.
This will be followed by a verification period from April 1 to April 14, 2026, to validate registered members.
Polling station elections are slated for May 10 to May 16, 2026, after which Electoral Area elections will be conducted from June 10 to June 15, 2026.
The Constituency elections are scheduled for July 11 to July 12, 2026, whilethe Regional elections will take place from August 8 to August 9, 2026.
For the party’s External Branches and Chapters, activities will run from June 20 to July 19, 2026.
Branch elections within the external chapters are expected to be held between mid-July and early August.
The reorganisation process will culminate in the National Delegates Conference, scheduled for September 18 to September 20, 2026.
Party officials say the exercise is aimed at strengthening internal structures, updating membership records and preparing the party for future political activities.
