Naa Torshie to switch her support for Ken Agyapong to fulfil her Vice Presidential ambition

Former Administrator of the District Assemblies Common Fund (DACF), Irene Naa Toshie Addo-Lartey, is reportedly considering shifting her political allegiance to Kennedy Agyapong, the former Member of Parliament for Assin Central, in the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) flagbearer contest.
Sources close to her suggest that this move is being explored as part of her long-term ambition to occupy the Vice Presidency of Ghana.
Her potential support for Agyapong is seen as a strategic step in positioning herself for a higher office within the party.
This development follows a prophecy by Prophet ElBernard Nelson-Eshun, who recently declared that a woman would emerge as Ghana’s ninth Vice President.
The prophecy, delivered during an online service on October 1, 2025, described a vision in which a woman was sworn in as Vice President on January 7, 2029.
According to the prophet, she would be a voice for women, breaking barriers and opening doors for female leadership both in Ghana and internationally.
In his message, Prophet ElBernard emphasised the significance of the number nine, linking it to themes of birthing, completion and new beginnings.
He stated that the woman he saw carried a prophetic mandate to inspire and lead women into new realms of participation and recognition in governance.
