President bids farewell to outgoing Chief of Defence Staff and Service Chiefs

The Minister for Defence, Dr. Edward Omane Boamah, has announced that a farewell interaction and memorable picture-taking session were held in honour of the outgoing Chief of the Defence Staff (CDS) and his Service Chiefs at the Ministry of Defence (The Square).
The event, which took place ahead of their final handing-over, marked the end of their tenure, during which they played key roles in safeguarding national security and upholding the integrity of the Ghana Armed Forces.
As part of the transition, President John Dramani Mahama and Vice President Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang also took turns to express their gratitude to the outgoing military leaders for their dedicated service to the nation.
The handing-over process signifies a new chapter for the Ghana Armed Forces, as new leadership takes over to continue the mandate of ensuring national defense and stability.
