“Rich Ideas” must lead to jobs and wealth creation: Razak Kojo Opoku to Bawumia

Dr. Razak Kojo Opoku, a leading member of the Bryan Acheampong for President 2028 campaign team, has questioned Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s recent assertion that he may not be wealthy but possesses “rich ideas.”
Reacting in a Facebook post, Dr. Opoku argued that ideas, no matter how intellectually appealing, must translate into tangible outcomes such as job creation and wealth generation to be considered meaningful.
“All rich ideas should point to jobs and wealth creation.
Ideas that do not impact humanity are highly questionable,” he stated.
His comments come in response to Dr. Bawumia’s meeting with over 200 former Metropolitan, Municipal, and District Chief Executives (MMDCEs) in Accra, where the Vice President emphasised his vision and capabilities as he positions himself to lead the New Patriotic Party (NPP) again in the 2028 general elections.
Dr. Opoku further asserted that leadership is not the exclusive preserve of the wealthy or the poor.
“A rich man can lead just as a poor man can.
However, ideas without financing are often useless on paper,” he concluded.
