Seek the welfare of the people, if elected – Chief tells Asiedu Nketia
Nana Eti Akandi II, the chief of Dwura Banso in the Evalue Gwira Constituency of the Western Region, has called on politicians to keep their promises when elected into office.
Speaking at a community gathering during a mini rally, Nana Akandi urged the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to prioritize completing abandoned projects in smaller communities like Dwura Banso if they come into power.
The chief's remarks were made during a visit from the NDC's National Chairman, Johnson Asiedu Nketia, who is on a campaign tour in the region.
In response, Mr. Asiedu Nketia assured the community that the NDC is committed to addressing their concerns, pledging that the party would focus on the welfare of residents and work to advance development in the area if given the mandate.
He further encouraged the constituents to vote overwhelmingly for NDC’s Presidential Candidate, John Mahama, and to retain Kofi Arko Nokoe as the Member of Parliament for Evalue Gwira, affirming the party’s dedication to the needs of the constituency.
