Vetting of deputy ministerial nominees set to begin on Monday

The vetting of deputy ministerial nominees is scheduled to commence on Monday, February 24, 2025, according to the Deputy Majority Leader, Kweku George Ricketts Hagan
He stated that there will be no surprises in the reconstituted Appointment Committee, as the statutory members’ status remains unchanged. Consequently, the First Deputy Speaker Bernard Ahiafor will continue to serve as the Committee’s Chairman.
The announcement reassured stakeholders that the committee's established structure and leadership would persist, ensuring a smooth and predictable vetting process for the deputy ministerial nominees.
