Ghana's cocoa farms fully digitalised – Palgrave Boakye-Danquah

The government has successfully digitalised all cocoa farms across Ghana, marking a significant milestone in its digitalisation agenda, according to Dr. Palgrave Boakye-Danquah, Government Spokesperson on Governance and Security.
Speaking on the Class Morning Show (CMS) on Tuesday, 3 December 2024, Dr. Boakye-Danquah highlighted this achievement as part of the broader efforts to modernise the country’s agricultural sector through technology.
He explained the scope of the initiative, stating: “So if people have cocoa farms, every single cocoa farm and every single cocoa pod is digitalised in this country. If you don’t have a cocoa farm, your farm will not be digitalised.”
Dr. Boakye-Danquah also emphasised that the digitalisation agenda, driven by the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has advanced significantly under the current administration.
