The National Information Technology Agency (NITA) has announced a temporary outage on the Government of Ghana’s email platform, disrupting access for users across various ministries, departments, and agencies.
In a statement issued in Accra on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, NITA explained that its technical team has already identified the problem and is working around the clock to restore full service.
“We understand the importance of this platform in supporting government communication and public service delivery, and we sincerely regret any inconvenience this disruption may cause,” the statement noted.
The agency assured users that every effort is being made to resolve the issue in the shortest possible time, with regular updates to be provided until the platform is fully restored.
NITA further apologised for the inconvenience caused and thanked the public for their patience and cooperation.
The statement was issued by the Acting Director-General of the National Information Technology Agency (NITA), Dr Anthony Nukpenu.
