Margins Group hosts Zambian delegation to showcase Ghana’s identity systems
Margins ID Group has hosted a high-level delegation from Zambia, led by the country’s Minister of Technology and Science, Hon. Felix Mutati, at its subsidiary, Intelligent Card Production Systems(ICPS), in Accra.
The visit forms part of growing continental interest in Ghana’s identity infrastructure, particularly the Ghanacard, which has become a cornerstone of the country’s digital transformation agenda.
Officials of Margins Group described the engagement as a significant opportunity to showcase Ghana’s end-to-end identity management ecosystem, including card production, data integration, and secure identification systems.
The company highlighted the potential for replicating similar frameworks across other African countries seeking to strengthen their digital infrastructure.
During the visit, discussions focused on knowledge sharing, collaboration, and the role of robust identity systems in driving economic growth, enhancing security, and improving access to public services.
Margins Group noted that the visit reflects increasing recognition of its leadership in identity solutions across the continent and underscored the importance of partnerships in advancing Africa’s digital transformation.
The company expressed appreciation to the Zambian delegation for the engagement, emphasising its commitment to supporting scalable and interoperable identity systems across Africa through strategic collaboration and innovation.
The visit comes at a time when many African countries are accelerating investments in digital identity and technology-driven governance systems aimed at improving efficiency and inclusion.
