2026 World Cup qualifiers: Comoros humiliates Ghana in 1-0 defeat

The Black Stars of Ghana, on Tuesday, 21 November 2023, suffered a 1-0 defeat against Comoros in the qualifiers of the 2026 World Cup.
After defeating Madagascar in the first group match at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi, last Friday, Ghana failed to secure a point in the second group game.
Chris Hughton’s side suffered a massive defeat at the Stade de Moroni, after all three changes made by the Black Stars manager failed to produce results.
Ghana is now in the 4th place in Group I, three points behind Comoros.
The Black Stars will play Mali in Bamako in their next qualifying game in June 2024.
Until then, the team will head to Ivory Coast in January 2024 for the Africa Cup of Nations (AfCoN).
