Antoine Semenyo: Ghanaian forward named Bournemouth's Player of the Month
Footballer Antoine Selorm Semenyo has received an award.
The Ghanaian international was recognised as AFC Bournemouth’s Player of the Month of August 2024.
Semenyo was key in the attacking front of Bournemouth’s in four games in August.
Specifically, against Nottingham Forest, Everton, and Newcastle United, Semenyo scored two goals and assisted with another to secure crucial points for his team, asserting his place in Bournemouth’s goal-seeking efforts.
On X, Bournemouth, Thursday, September 12, posted a picture of Semenyo, acknowledging: "One of only four #PL players to score or assist in every game so far [fire emoji]. Baller [Ghana flag emoji]."
In another, the Andoni Iraola-led club wrote: "Antoine Semenyo has had a flying start to 2024/25 [love-eyed emojis]."

Bournemouth (The Cherries) continues its campaign in the English Premier League, and are set to face Chelsea at the Vitality Stadium, Saturday, September 14. Striker Semenyo will be one to watch.
Antoine Selorm Semenyo is also a Ghana Black Stars player and was part of the 26-man squad for the Qatar World Cup 2022.
