The Black Princesses and their technical team departed Accra late on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, for South Africa ahead of the second leg of their 2026 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup qualifier.

Ghana heads into the decisive fixture after a 2-2 draw with South Africa in the first leg at the Accra Sports Stadium and will be seeking maximum points to secure qualification to the fourth round.

The return match is scheduled for Saturday, February 14, 2026, at the Mbombela Stadium in Nelspruit.

If successful, the team will make its eighth consecutive appearance at the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup, which will be hosted in Poland in September 2026.
