FIFA sends condolences following death of Berekum Chelsea player Dominic Frimpong
FIFA President Gianni Infantino has expressed condolences following the death of Dominic Frimpong of Berekum Chelsea FC.
Frimpong reportedly died after an attack on the team while they were returning from a Ghana Premier League fixture.
In a statement, Infantino said he was deeply saddened by the news and extended sympathies on behalf of the global football community and FIFA to the player’s family, friends, his club, and all who knew him.
