Football boots for premier league clubs ready for collection – GFA

The Ghana Football Association has reminded Premier League clubs to contact its Secretariat in Accra for their PUMA football boots.
This follows an earlier announcement three weeks ago that the second batch of football boots for Premier League players have arrived in Accra for onward distribution to the eighteen (18) Premier League clubs.
Bibiani Gold Stars, Bechem United, Berekum Chelsea and Medeama SC are the only clubs that have collected their boots thus far.
The distribution of football boots is part of the strategy to alleviate some the burden on club owners in the two top tier male competitions.
President Simeon-Okraku revealed during the 28th ordinary session of congress on Tuesday, August 30, 2022 at the Ghanaman Centre of Excellence at Prampram that a total number of Five Hundred and forty (540) pair of boots will be supplied to betPawa Premier League Clubs with One Thousand, Four-hundred and Forty (1,440) going to the 48 Access Bank Division One League clubs for onward distribution to their players.
Division One League clubs have already received their boots from the GFA with some of the Premier League sides yet to contact the Secretariat for the their boots per their requested sizes.
A total number of One Thousand Nine hundred and eighty (1,980) pair of boots will be supplied to the 48 Division One League clubs and 18 Premier League clubs for a four-year period.
