Kotoko set to unveil Nana Yaw Amponsah as new CEO in two days

Kumasi Asante Kotoko have scheduled Friday to approve the appointment of the club’s new Chief Executive Officer, Nana Yaw Amponsah, Class Sports has gathered.
In the past few months, the club conducted interviews for the position with the Licensed Player Agent/Intermediary emerging as the favourite candidate to take the job.
The Board of Directors, after consulting with Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, can now make his appointment public.
Kotoko has been without a functional CEO since the inauguration of the new board in May 2020.
Nana Yaw Amponsah holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology and Political Science from the University of Ghana, Legon, and a Master’s Degree in Sports Law and Practice from the Leicester DE Monort University, UK.
From 2008 to 2018, he transferred over 50 players from Ghana and almost 100 across the globe as a Licensed Player Agent/Intermediary, which brought huge revenues to Ghanaian clubs.
Nana Yaw Amponsah will be replacing the acting CEO of the club, Joseph Yaw Adu, as he works to transform Kotoko into one of the best football clubs in Africa.
