NIA wraps up National ID week with exciting sports festival

The National Identification Authority (NIA) brought this year’s National ID Week to a lively close with a day of sporting activities that celebrated teamwork, collaboration, and camaraderie.
The event, held in partnership with Margins ID Group and its subsidiary IMS, featured a series of friendly games between NIA staff and the Margins team.
The competitions saw spirited participation, with Margins ID Group securing wins in several categories.
Beyond the victories, the sporting festival underscored the strong partnership between NIA and Margins ID Group, as both institutions continue to work together in advancing Ghana’s digital identity ecosystem.
In a statement, officials from Margins ID Group praised the NIA for hosting such a vibrant and unifying event, noting that it provided a unique opportunity to strengthen bonds outside the workplace while celebrating collective achievements.
The celebration marked a fitting conclusion to National ID Week, highlighting not only progress in Ghana’s digital identity drive but also the importance of collaboration in building inclusive national systems.
