Ag. Canadian High C’ssner calls on Lands Minister

The Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, Samuel A. Jinapor has received officials from the High Commission of Canada to Ghana, led by Kathleen Flynn-Dapaah, Ag. Canadian High Commissioner to among others discuss relevant issues ahead of the Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada (PDAC) Mineral exploration & Mining Conversion, 2024 in Toronto Canada.
Affirming the Ministry's participation in the upcoming PDAC convention, Mr Jinapor said, as the leading gold producing country in Africa, the platform will be used to articulate policies on the future of Ghana’s mining industry.
The Lands Minister lauded the mutual relations between Ghana and Canada and expressed his outmost appreciation for their support and cooperation over the years.
The PDAC Mining Conference which will take place from March 3-6, 2024. It is expected to showcase exploration companies, government, equipment & service providers in the mining industry across the globe.
Present at the brief meeting was Regional Senior Trade Commissioner, Andrew Maharaj, Chief Director of the Ministry, Professor Patrick Agbesinyale and Advisor on Mining to the Minister, Mr. Benjamin Aryee and other officers.
