DVLA to open new office in Ablekuma North

The Chief Executive Officer and management of the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA), accompanied by the Member of Parliament for Ablekuma North in the Greater Accra Region, Mrs. Ewurabena Aubynn, have inspected a facility being released by the Ablekuma North Municipal Assembly for the establishment of a new DVLA office.
The team led by the Chief Executive, Julius Neequaye Kotey, assessed rehabilitation works required to configure the building to meet DVLA standards.
In discussions, DVLA management reaffirmed their commitment to decentralising services to make them more accessible to the public.
The Authority emphasised its mission to ensure that only authorised vehicles and licensed drivers operate on Ghana’s roads, thereby promoting road safety.
DVLA expressed confidence that the new Ablekuma North office will soon be operational, serving residents of the municipality and surrounding areas.
