Bullgod doesn't hate NPP but is angry at Akufo-Addo; ‘he destroyed my investment’, ‘he will live long and suffer badly’

Well-known artiste manager and entertainment commenter Lawrence Nana Asiamah Hanson (Bullgod) has clarified he does not hate the New Patriotic Party (NPP) but is only enraged by Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, Ghana’s immediate past president.
“No, it’s when I hear Nana Akufo-Addo’s name that I get angry,” he told Nana Romeo on Accra 100.5 FM’s Ayekoo Ayekoo.
“I have godfathers in the NPP who, while in government, helped me out anytime I rung them in dire times, giving me direction and such. I’ll forever have them as friends.”
Bullgod revealed he disliked Nana Addo because “he destroyed my business”.
“He destroyed the Xylophone business and destroyed my investment at Menzgold. I have about a million cedis in Menzgold investment, as we speak, and I don’t know if I will get that back or not,” he explained, bemoaning the money, even if restored, had depreciated in value “due to inflation” to about “500,000 cedis”.
The husband and father of four said “Nana Akufo-Addo was wrong for this country.
“He is not someone anyone should greet or regard. He doesn’t deserve it. He is a useless person.”
He was reminded her was talking about a former head of state.
“He is nobody. He didn’t treat Ghana with respect and kindness,” Bullgod insisted. “That’s all we have as humans. You have to treat people with respect and kindness. If you don’t do this, you cease to be a human being and you’re an animal. It’s only an animal that growls at people. When a human sees fellow, he must show respect but he didn’t respect people.”
He decried how Nana Akufo-Addo and former Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta handled the Menzgold controversy, “destroying it totally.
“If you believe someone is scamming others, should you see his victims as scammers too? No, so you make sure the people who put their monies there get their money back and then you deal with the scammer.”
Bulldog emphasised, “Nobody in this country can tell me to respect Nana Akufo-Addo. Nobody. And I will not respect him till he dies. And he will live a long but painful life. Death is inevitable for everyone and it’s pointless to wish it on anyone. He will live to about 120 and he will suffer. He will call for death but it won’t answer him or come to him. Facts!
“He’s hurt many others. Not just me. He’s put a lot of people in a bad place. So you don’t just get up and go [scot-free]. Life will not reward you like that and give you a quick death. Death is really nice. Death ends all things and suffering, right? He needs to live long to suffer the fate he’s subjected others to.”
The assertive and controversial personality brought up Nana Addo’s Secretary, Nana Bediatuo Asante, who “is suffering now.
“You see, life is give and take. So if I cheat you out of something, someone else will come for it from me. If I treat you badly, I will suffer the consequences elsewhere. It’s karma. My mother always said if you throw a ball against the wall, it bounces back at you – it only depends on how hard you throw it. So Nana Addo will live very long and suffer very badly. Look at what he’s done to Ghana. All the money he’s [mismanaged]. I mean why do you do that?”
