Diana Hamilton shares reflections on 20 years of marriage on Accra FM's Ayekoo Ayekoo
Ghanaian gospel sensation Diana Antwi Hamilton has opened up about her marital journey, revealing that she has been married for 20 years.
Speaking on Accra 100.5 FM’s Ayekoo Ayekoo with host Dr. Kay, the award-winning musician described her two-decade union as a blessing that still feels fresh.
When asked how many years she had been married, Diana responded with a smile, “Twenty years,” adding that the marriage feels as though it is “now about to start.”
She explained that reaching the 20-year mark still feels like just yesterday and expressed gratitude for the love and growth she has experienced along the way.
Diana also shared that she has two children—a boy and a girl—and jokingly added that she does not intend to have more, saying the two are enough for her and her family.
Dr. Kay further asked what has kept her marriage strong for 20 years, especially considering that many marriages—including those of fellow musicians married to pastors, ordinary people, the rich, and even the poor—have not endured.
Responding to this, Diana said it has been purely by the grace of God.
According to her, she has no reason to leave her marriage and believes strongly that God will not allow her marriage to fall apart.
She emphasised that divine grace, commitment, and God’s guidance have kept her home firm for two decades.
Diana Hamilton’s honest reflections offered listeners a heartwarming and inspiring look into her personal life, reinforcing the values of faith, love, and endurance that she often expresses through her music.
