KiDi has spoken about his label mate Kuami Eugene’s health condition.

The singer-songwriter and record producer was on Convo with the Head.

Host Kwadwo Sheldon had asked if KiDi had heard from Kuami Eugene.

“Everything is alright. He will be fine,” KiDi answered in Pidgin.

He reacted to fearmongering on social media regarding Eugene’s current health, saying: “It’s usual for people to react in different ways when something happens.”

KiDi then stressed, cracking a smile, “Let everybody rest assured he will be fine.”

The assurance comes three days after Monica hitmaker Kuami Eugene escaped death in a road accident.

The frightening incident occured around 11:30 pm, Sunday, 17 March 2024, at CP close to DStv's head office along the George Walker Bush N1 Highway, after the Achimota Overhead, towards the Dzowulu traffic light in the Greater Accra Region.

According to eyewitnesses, Kuami Eugene's Range Rover, registered GC 220-21, ran into a tipper truck from behind, resulting in significant damage to the swanky vehicle.

Eyewitnesses again observed Eugene suffered a broken wrist and a deep cut on his right hand as a result of the accident.

ModernGhana Editor Emmanuel Ajarfor, happening on the scene, organised a vehicle to transport Eugene and his passenger to the University of Ghana Medical Centre (UGMC) for medical attention.

Lynx Entertainment, the company that manages KiDi and Eugene, has already issued a statement noting that Kuami was "responding to treatment".
