Ghana Party in the Park 2024: King Paluta dazzles London, promises ‘I’ll be back’

King Paluta has expressed his gratitude to fans in London.
The singer was on stage at the 2024 Ghana Party in the Park (GPITP), Saturday, July 13.
On Sunday, July 14, on Facebook, he wrote: “Thank you, London [UK flag emoji],” assuring: “I’ll be back!”
He also thanked the organisers of the GPITP, Akwaaba UK, attaching photos of him treating attendees to performances of his hit songs, including his week-old instant hit Makoma.
King Paluta’s set was among that of other Ghanaian music stars’ including Wendy Shay, KiDi, Olivetheboy, Tulenkey, Beeztrap King of the Moment (KOTM), etc.
An attendee and vendor for this year’s Ghana Party in the Park at Oak Hill Park, Parkside Gardens, Barnet, London, told Class News’ Prince Benjamin (PB), while every performer was warmly received, Paluta had the biggest.
“He is a good performer too. A lot of energy,” she added, remarking about Makoma: “Chale, the beat is nice paaa.”
King Paluta’s appearance at the Ghana Party in the Park was secured once he was pronounced the Best New Artist at the 2024 Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA), the West African country’s biggest entertainment awards scheme.
The rapper and record producer’s rise to wide public notice was sparked by his 2024 song Aseda, a release which has become a megahit, and cemented by his two TGMA trophies, following his four debut nominations. These wonderful things have happened to the rapper after more than 15 years in the proverbial underground.
