How Ohemaa Mercy takes care of her voice despite ‘vocal casualties’

Singer Ohemaa Mercy has explained how even though her voice is constantly under a lot of pressure as a woman of prayer it has not stopped her from delivering whether in the recording studio or live on stage.
Mercy is of the Christian tradition that wails and shouts in praise and petition.
“God be blessed - I go through a lot of casualties, in terms of my voice, but God shows me mercy,” the Ote Me Mu (He Lives In Me) hitmaker told Taller Dee on Journey to Heaven on No.1 FM, 105.3.
Though vocal casualty is not a medical term, it was perhaps Ohemaa Mercy’s way of emphasising the dangers her vocal chords have been through given her routine of incessant prayer and performances.
Apart from spiritual help, she added that she took her physiological health seriously, also.
“I have doctors that also take care of me so that’s helping me a lot,” the Gospel star said.
