Kaywa commends Keche for their consistent gratitude and respect
Renowned Ghanaian music producer and Highly Spiritual Music boss, *Kaywa, has praised music duo **Keche* for consistently showing appreciation and respect to individuals who have contributed to their success in the music industry.
Speaking in an interview on Channel One TV on June 14, 2026, Kaywa emphasized the importance of gratitude and honour, expressing concern about what he described as a growing lack of appreciation among some young artistes and industry players.
According to him, one of the reasons he maintains a strong relationship with Keche is their willingness to acknowledge and appreciate the support they have received throughout their career.
“I’m someone who believes in people coming back to say thank you. Keche will always return to express gratitude regardless of where they find themselves. Even before they became as successful as they are today, they always came back to thank me for the opportunities and support I gave them,” he said.
The award-winning producer noted that honouring people who contribute to one’s growth and success is a quality many individuals in the current generation seem to be lacking.
Kaywa also revealed that Keche once nearly removed a song they had recorded with *King Paluta* because the rapper allegedly refused to promote the track.
Drawing from his personal experiences, Kaywa disclosed that he has encountered several situations where people he helped failed to acknowledge the opportunities and support they received.
“I have had many experiences with people who do not honour the support, investment and guidance they were given,” he stated.
Reflecting on his contributions to Ghana’s music industry, Kaywa said numerous successful music producers passed through his mentorship at some stage of their careers.
“I have helped develop more than 19 top music producers. Many of the producers currently making an impact in the industry came through me,” he said.
He encouraged young artistes and creatives to cultivate the habit of expressing gratitude, stressing that appreciating those who support one’s journey can contribute significantly to long-term success.
“Young people should learn from this. There is nothing wrong with saying thank you or appreciating someone who has helped you. That attitude can help sustain your success and take you further in life,” he added.
