Medikal praises Lyrical Joe, apologises for anytime he's not mentioned him as a top 5 rapper

Medikal has publicly praised rap colleague Lyrical Joe, alias LJ, for his talent.
The 'Stubborn Academy' hitmaker also apologised to LJ for anytime he may have left him out of the top 5 rappers list upon being asked.
Medikal, born Samuel Frimpong, said this at a private listening party, Friday, March 17, 2023, organised for Lyrical Joe's debut long play (LP) titled 'Photo Album'.
At the event, the reigning Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMAs) Rapper of the Year Lyrical Joe, nicknamed the Young Warlock teased songs on the album.
After he played 'Judas' featuring Medikal, the latter shared a few words with the audience which included artiste Bosom P. Yung.
“If I have ever been placed in a spot where I have been asked to mention my top 5 rappers, and I didn’t mention your name, I apologise for it," he said.
"I listened to some of the songs [on the album] and was like ‘Yo! This guy can actually rap,” he confessed.
A 15-tracker, 'Photo Album' has other stars guests such as E.L, Efya, Darko Vibes, and Sefa.
For the 2023 VGMAs, Medikal and Lyrical Joe are competing for the Best Rap Performance trophy.
