Michy appears to respond to Shatta Wale's claims about buying her house and cars
Michy GH has seemingly responded to recent claims by dancehall artiste Shatta Wale that he bought a house and cars for her
Speaking on the Bonah Show, Shatta Wale stated that he has taken care of all his baby mamas by providing them with houses and vehicles. He specifically claimed that he bought a house valued at $65,000 for Michy and also registered a car in her name.
According to Shatta Wale, he ensured that the mothers of his first two children had roofs over their heads and means of transportation. He further stated that the properties were registered in their names and belonged to them.
However, Michy appeared to challenge those assertions through a series of posts on social media. Without mentioning Shatta Wale directly, she questioned whether there was anything he had ever given someone without later taking it back.
She also suggested that the musician may have overstated the financial support he provided. Michy said she would take time to go through her records and locate what she described as a $15,000 receipt, implying that the value of the support had been exaggerated.
“I will make time to look through my files and find the $15,000 receipt. You brought this on yourself. I looked sharp because I know how seasonal you can be. You can show up once in two years with promises, while I am actively doing most of the work,” she wrote.
Michy further highlighted the financial demands involved in raising their child, noting that she would not boast about providing what she described as the bare minimum for a child’s upbringing.
She also questioned the logic behind claims that a house was bought for their son, arguing that it would be contradictory for someone to say they purchased a house for a child while allegedly being unable to visit that child in the same home.
“I bought a house for my son, but I can’t see my son in that house. I can pass the junction by the house to my friend’s house. Make it make sense,” she added
