Nigerian actor Charles Awurumn joins Ghanaian stars for premiere of “Captain Ibrahim Traore” in Sunyani

Sunyani will come alive this weekend as Nigerian screen icon Charles Awurumn joins Ghana’s celebrated actor and comedian Kwadwo Nkansah, popularly known as Lilwin, for the grand premiere of Lilwin’s latest film, Captain Ibrahim Traore.
The highly anticipated event is scheduled for Saturday, August 16, 2025, at the Eusbett Hotel cinema in Sunyani, starting at 3 p.m.
The film, which has already generated excitement among movie enthusiasts across Ghana, is expected to draw a large audience, eager to witness Lilwin’s signature blend of comedy and social commentary.
Charles Awurumn’s presence at the premiere adds an international flavour, highlighting the strong cultural and entertainment ties between Ghana and Nigeria.
