One-week observation slated for Jan. 30 for Osibisa's Teddy Osei
A one-week-observation has been announced for legendary musician Teddy Osei of Osibisa.
The ceremony which will bring together family, friends, and fans, and during which funeral arrangements will be made, including a date for the funeral.
The ceremony will take place on Thursday, January 30, 2025, at saxophone player's family house in Chirapatre, Kumasi, Ashanti region.
It will start at 6AM, ending at 6PM.
Teddy Osei passed away in London, UK, Tuesday morning, January 14, 2025.
A founding member of one of the most important African bands of all time, Osibisa, he was 88.
