Rev. Azigiza Jnr Inducted into RTP Awards Hall of Fame
Renowned media personality and media entrepreneur, Rev. Azigiza Jnr, has been inducted into the prestigious Radio and Television Personality (RTP) Awards Hall of Fame in recognition of his enduring contribution to Ghana’s broadcast industry.
The induction ceremony took place on Saturday, 7th February 2026, at the Accra International Conference Centre, drawing a distinguished audience of media practitioners, creatives, industry leaders, clergy, and admirers of his multifaceted career.
Rev. Azigiza Jnr was honoured for a journey that spans decades, beginning from his early days as a disc jockey to becoming one of the influential voices in radio and television. His work during the formative years of private broadcasting in Ghana helped shape programming standards, energise youth culture, and expand audience engagement across platforms. Beyond the microphone and camera, he played a pivotal role in strengthening the media ecosystem through mentorship, innovation, and strategic branding.
Having transitioned from on-air stardom to media entrepreneurship and marketing consultancy, Rev. Azigiza has continued to influence the industry from behind the scenes, advising brands, nurturing talent, and building sustainable media businesses. His evolution from DJ to broadcaster, entrepreneur, and now minister of the Gospel underscores a rare blend of creativity, leadership, and purpose.
