Queen-Mother of Kwahu Obomeng calls on chiefs to worship God for effective governance

As Ghana marks its heritage month, Nana Yaa Kwei II, the Queen-Mother of Kwahu Obomeng in the Eastern Region, has called on chiefs to seek divine guidance by worshipping the Almighty God.
She believes that doing so will ensure effective governance and bring prosperity to their communities.
Nana Yaa Kwei II made this appeal during her second anniversary thanksgiving ceremony as Obomenghemaa, held at the Christ Apostolic Church International, Nkawkaw Central District.
Addressing the congregation, she stressed the importance of relying on God’s wisdom and power to overcome challenges and make decisions that positively impact their people.
"Seeking God's guidance is essential for leadership, especially for chiefs who bear the responsibility of making decisions for their communities," she said.
The event was graced by Apostle Dr. Stephen Kwame Ntow Amoani, the former Chairman of the Christ Apostolic Church, who praised the chiefs for wearing traditional attire to the church service.
He encouraged the youth to embrace Ghanaian cultural dressings during church gatherings as a way of promoting national identity.
