Ama Mawusi Foundation donates 600 food packs to street children in Greater Accra

The Ama Mawusi Foundation has donated over 600 packs of food, fruits, and drinks to street children across selected communities in the Greater Accra Region.

The donation was led by the Founder and Leader of the Foundation, Ama Mawusi Mawuenyefia, who also serves as the Spokesperson for the Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources.

Speaking to Accra News, Madam Mawuenyefia explained that the initiative forms part of the Foundation’s festive outreach activities, aimed at demonstrating love and compassion by providing meals to vulnerable street children within the Greater Accra Metropolis.

She further noted that this humanitarian exercise has been ongoing for the past fifteen years, adding that giving back to society has become a personal commitment and a core value of the Foundation.

The donation exercise covered several areas, including 37, Asylum Down, Circle, and Adabraka.

Madam Mawuenyefia used the opportunity to call on individuals, corporate bodies, and institutions to support the initiative in order to expand its reach and sustain its impact.

Volunteers who partnered with the Foundation during the exercise also expressed their appreciation for the initiative, describing it as timely and impactful
