C/R: Preach sanitation and integrity, Central Regional Minister urges church leaders
The Central Regional Minister, Ekow Okyere Panyin Eduamoah, has called on church leaders to place greater emphasis on sanitation and the fight against corruption in their teachings.
He said acts such as indiscriminate waste disposal are inconsistent with Christian values, describing them as unbecoming of anyone who professes the Christian faith. The minister added that corruption is equally reprehensible and should not be tolerated within the Christian community.
Mr Eduamoah urged churches, in particular, to intensify efforts to educate young Christians on proper waste disposal and environmental management, while also cautioning them against engaging in corrupt practices.
He made the remarks in an interview with Samuel Nana Tawiah on the sidelines of a Pentecost Students and Associates (PENSA) programme held at the Gomoa Fetteh Pentecost Conversion Centre.
