East Legon accident: Sales assistant Linda B. Bempah gave Jaguar keys to minor – Prosecution
Why Linda Bonsu Bempah appeared in court together with Bishop Elisha Salifu Amoako and his wife Mouha Amoako has been explained.
In the Accra Circuit Court, yesterday, October 16, 2024, the prosecution identified Linda Bonsu Bempah as a sales assistant who worked for Elyon Amoako, 25.
Elyon is the elder brother of the 16-year-old suspect driver who drove a Jaguar vehicle into an Acura vehicle at the Mensah Wood Avenue T-junction, East Legon, Accra, Saturday, October 12. The collision ended in a fire that incinerated two girls.

Linda was accused as the person who handed the keys to the Jaguar to the suspect driver knowing very well he a was minor and did not have a licence.
Like the suspect driver's parents Bishop Elisha Salifu Amoako and Mouha Amoako, Linda Bonsu Bempah was was charged with permitting an unlicensed person to drive contrary to Regulation 42 of the Road Traffic Regulations 2012 Legislative Instrument (L.I.) 2180.
They all pleaded not guilty.
Also, they were granted a GHS50,000 bail with two sureties each.
