GTA Deputy CEO praises Hajia Zuwera Ibrahimah as a trailblazer in Ghana’s Parliament
Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA), Gilbert Aggrey, has paid glowing tribute to Hon. Hajia Zuwera Mohammed Ibrahimah, describing her as one of Ghana’s most outstanding female legislators and a trailblazer in national politics.
Hon. Zuwera Ibrahimah, NDC Member of Parliament for Salaga South Constituency, holds the distinction of being the first female Member of Parliament from the Savannah Region.
Her leadership, which Mr. Aggrey said has inspired countless young women and girls across the country.
He praised her boldness, integrity, and strong advocacy, noting that these qualities have earned her recognition as one of the most trusted and respected public servants of the era.
“I deeply admire her courage, clarity of purpose, and dedication to uplifting her people,” he said.
Mr. Aggrey added that her achievements are a source of pride not only for the Savannah Region but for Ghana and the African continent as a whole.
