Ga Mantse visits family of late former First Lady Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings
His Royal Majesty King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II, Ga Mantse, has led a delegation from the Ga Traditional Council, accompanied by other distinguished traditional rulers of the Ga State, to visit the family of the late Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings, former First Lady of the Republic of Ghana.
The visit was to commiserate with the bereaved family and to pay tribute to a distinguished national figure whose lifelong dedication to public service, women’s empowerment, and national development left an indelible mark on Ghana’s history.
During the visit, the Ga Mantse extended heartfelt condolences on behalf of the Ga State, expressing solidarity and compassion toward the family during their period of mourning.
“We mourn with you and the entire nation as we celebrate the life of a true matriarch of Ghana,” His Majesty said.
“May the Almighty grant the family strength and comfort as they bear this great loss.”
The Ga Mantse described Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings as a trailblazer and a pillar of leadership, whose influence extended beyond politics to touch the lives of countless women and youth across the country.
The gesture by the Ga Mantse and the Ga Traditional Council reflects the deep respect and national reverence accorded to the late former First Lady, whose contributions to Ghana’s social and political advancement remain widely recognised.
