Chief of Staff assuring the families during a visit

The government has reaffirmed its support for the families of the eight victims who were laid to rest at a state funeral last Friday.

A high-powered delegation led by Chief of Staff Julius Debrah on Tuesday visited the bereaved families to extend the government’s condolences and assure them of continued assistance.

The visit formed part of the government’s commitment to stand by the families in their moment of grief and to follow up on pledges made during the funeral ceremony.

Speaking during the visit, Mr. Debrah noted that the government remains resolute in honouring the memory of the deceased and supporting their dependents.

The families, in turn, expressed their appreciation for the gesture, describing it as a sign of solidarity and respect.
