Jospong Group Chairman mourns victims of military helicopter crash
Executive Chairman of the Jospong Group of Companies, Dr. Joseph Siaw Agyepong, has joined Ghanaians in mourning the eight lives lost in last Wednesday’s tragic military helicopter crash in the Ashanti Region.
The fatal incident claimed the lives of:
Hon. Dr. Edward Kofi Omane Boamah
Hon. Alhaji Dr. Ibrahim Murtala Muhammed
Hon. Alhaji Muniru Mohammed Limuna
Hon. Samuel Sarpong
Mr. Samuel Aboagye
Squadron Leader Peter Bafemi Anala
Flying Officer Manaen (Amaning) Twum Ampadu
Sergeant Ernest Addo Mensah
Describing the tragedy as a “heartbreaking loss,” Dr. Agyepong said the nation had lost “true patriots” who served Ghana with honour and distinction.
“This is a heartbreaking loss — to their families, to the Government, and to the nation they served with honour and distinction. Ghana has lost true patriots,” he stated.
On behalf of the Jospong Group, Dr. Agyepong extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families, assuring them that the thoughts and prayers of the company are with them during this period of grief.
