Ministry of Energy resolves most power outages in Kumasi and Greater Accra
The Ministry of Energy and Green Transition has announced that nearly all causes of recent power outages in Kumasi and parts of Accra—including Achimota, Tantra Hill, Dodowa, Tesano, and surrounding areas—have been resolved.
In a statement released by the Ministry’s spokesperson, Richmond Rockson, noted that the technical team is still addressing remaining challenges in sections of Tema, Adenta, and Lakeside.
Outside these areas, power supply has been largely stable.
The Ministry reassured all electricity consumers that it remains committed to providing a consistent and reliable power supply across the country.
Officials emphasised that efforts are ongoing to prevent further disruptions and to maintain stability in the national grid.
