The National Identification Authority (NIA) has approved upward adjustments to fees charged for selected services, citing the need to sustain and enhance service delivery.

The Authority announced the changes in a statement shared on its official Facebook page on Wednesday, January 22.

According to the NIA, the new pricing affects a range of services, including first-time registration, updates to personal records, replacement of the Ghana Card, changes to nationality information, and the issuance of cards to non-citizens.

The Authority advised the public to take note of the revised charges as they come into force, explaining that the adjustments are intended to improve operational efficiency and ensure the continued provision of quality identification services nationwide.
