NIB summons Abronye DC over alleging President Mahama hoarded GH¢550m meant for dismissed appointees

The National Investigations Bureau (NIB) has invited Kwame Baffoe (Abronye DC) to appear before it on Wednesday, February 26, 2025.
The main opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) Bono Regional Chairman is expected to respond to allegations he reportedly made against President John Dramani Mahama.
An NIB communique dated February 21, indicated Abronye DC had alleged President Mahama withheld GH₵550 million intended for dismissed appointees at the Golden Jubilee House, the seat of government.
Thus, Abronye DC was summoned by the NIB to back his claims with evidence.
Abronye DC according reportedly made the claims when he appeared on Accra-based Movement Television, accusing the National Democratic Congress (NDC) government of engaging in corruption during the ongoing revocation of appointment and recruitment processes.
