PRINPAG mourns victims of Ashanti Region helicopter crash

The Private Newspapers and Online News Publishers Association of Ghana (PRINPAG) has expressed deep sorrow over the fatal helicopter crash that occurred on the morning of Wednesday, August 6, 2025, near Adansi Sikaman in the Ashanti Region.
The tragic incident claimed the lives of eight prominent Ghanaians, including senior government officials and members of the military, sending shockwaves across the nation.
In a statement, PRINPAG extended its heartfelt condolences to President John Dramani Mahama, the Government of Ghana, the bereaved families, the Ghana Armed Forces, the National Democratic Congress (NDC), and all citizens mourning this profound loss.
The Association described the event as a devastating national tragedy, noting that the contributions and service of the victims will be remembered with deep respect.
