Political Activist Ralph Saint Williams defends actions at Ridge Hospital

Political activist Ralph Saint Williams has insisted he has no regrets about his conduct during a recent incident at the Greater Accra Regional Hospital, also known as Ridge Hospital.
Speaking in an interview on the Citizen Show on Accra 100.5 FM on Wednesday, August 20, after widespread public discussion of the matter, Williams maintained that his actions were justified and aligned with his principles as a social and political campaigner.
“I have no regrets about what I did at Ridge Hospital,” he said.
I wanted the world to know how patients are maltreated in their quest to seek healthcare, and to expose the behaviours of some unprofessional nurses
The activist’s comments have generated mixed reactions, with some supporting his stance while others criticised his approach as confrontational.
Authorities at Ridge Hospital have issued an official response condemning the actions of the political activist.
Meanwhile, Minority Caucus is also calling for an investigation into the matter, and the people involved brought to book
They said so in a statement released on Tuesday.
