A/R: Shock and grief as newly employed househelp murders young businesswoman

A young businesswoman named Afua Ahenkan, also known as Princess Afua, has been murdered by a male house help just a month after she employed him.
The incident, which occurred in the suburbs of Kumasi in the Ashanti region, specifically in Ampeyoo and Ampabame communities, has left the residents in a state of disbelief and sorrow.
Afua Ahenkan, who had recently hired the suspect through an agency to assist with her business, suffered multiple stab wounds at the hands of the assailant. This shocking act transpired while she was engaged in a phone call, and her desperate cries for help during the attack raised concerns for the person on the other end of the line. Alarmed by the unanswered calls, they immediately rushed to her residence.
Tragically, the suspect fled the scene with Ahenkan's car, money, and personal belongings.
The Ashanti Central Regional Police Command swiftly dispatched investigators to the crime scene following the report.
The suspect, has reportedly being arrested while Afua's body has been transported to the morgue at Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, where it awaits an autopsy.
