Murder of US national: Police arrest 2 at Assin Prasso

Two suspects have been arrested by the Ghana Police Service in connection with the death of a United States of America national, Naomi Jehubiyah, at Nyinasen, near Cape Coast in the Central Region.
The Police arrested the two, identified as Wisdom Sete, a Togolese national, and Yussif Afrim on Friday, 19 April 2024, at Assin Prasso.
According to a statement issued by the Police on Sunday, 21 April 2024, preliminary findings suggest that Wisdom Sete, purportedly the fiancé of the deceased, allegedly orchestrated a plot with Yussif Afrim to carry out the murder.
The body of the deceased has been deposited at the Cape Coast Teaching Hospital for preservation and to undergo autopsy.
Meanwhile, two vehicles belonging to the deceased were discovered in possession of the suspects and have been seized as part of the ongoing investigation.
