AMA announces scholarships for persons interested in studying Ga Dangme

The Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA) has announced the Ga Dangme Scholarship Scheme opening for Senior High School (SHS) graduates interested in pursuing studies in Ga Dangme at the Colleges of Education or Universities in the country.
This initiative is designed to cultivate a new generation of educators proficient in the Ga Dangme language, ensuring its preservation and promoting its instruction in schools within the metropolis.
The Ga Dangme Scholarship Scheme according to the AMA, provides an exceptional opportunity for SHS graduates to further their education and become qualified teachers of the Ga Dangme language.
The AMA said this effort aligns with its commitment to promoting cultural heritage and enhancing educational outcomes by increasing the number of trained language teachers available to schools in the Accra Metropolis.
