Windows of the school buildings; and other items at the school’s store were also destroyed.
The District Coordinator for Senior High Schools, Mr Ebenezer Akwasi Opoku, told Class News’ regional correspondent, Elisha Adarkwah, that the students also destroyed cars belonging to the staff of the school including the Senior House Mistress'.
Although he said previously there have been minor demonstrations in the school, he described the damage caused to the school properties in Sunday’s demonstration as overwhelming.
The Police were called to restore calm.
Mr Opoku said some of the students have been invited by the police to assist in investigations while others are also on the run.
